Severe Audio Problems

Upon opening the game for the first time, my ears exploded as an INSANELY LOUD BUZZING NOISE blasted through my headphones set at MINIMUM SOUND.

After closing and reopening, there was no audio at all, so I just went with it and played the tutorial. Game seems interesting enough, graphics are okay for the price, mechanics are a little touchy but acceptable.

However, after opening a third time and getting the loud noise again, I just gave up on this app. It runs fine with the exception of the audio, so if that’s not an issue for you go right ahead and play with volume off on your computer. Until it is fixed however, I would stay away.

Seriously, when you start the app, have your volume off and gradually turn it up to make sure there is no buzzing. It is an actual health hazard that could damage your ear drums and blow out speakers. On the lowest volume settings the noise was loud enough to cause pain.

For reference I have a 13-inch, mid 2012 MacBook Pro running Yosemite with 8GB Ram. I’ve never had any issue like this before, even with more intensive games like XCOM, Deus Ex HR, etc.
