great game… force quit on me!

Played it for a few hours. This game is great and is easily the best game I’ve ever played for less that $10. Graphics are fine, gameplay is good enough, and the story is fairly interesting and the island has tons of places to explore and things to find/kill. However, i put about 5 hours into the game and had everything upgraded and a full inventory of the best weapons/tools/food, and it force quit out of nowhere on me and DELETED ALL MY INVENTORY AND UPGRADES. It respawned me in the same part of the map that I was when it force quit, but with NOTHING in my inventory (had well over 20 items), NO ARMOR (had the best kind of most pieces of armor), and my backpack only had 5 slots again when I had upgraded it to level 4.

I’m on a 2014 MacBook Pro (16GB, i7), and running OS Yosemite, which was the newest OS when this game was released. I understand its the first release but my progress shouldn’t all be erased after a force quit on this hardware and OS version. I was in love with this game but it’ll be hard to play again until its updated for fear of losing all my hard work again. FIX THIS ISSUE NOW.
