Has Potential
There are some serious gameplay and graphics bugs in the game as it stands, but the concept is great and the world is absolutely huge. Even in its current state its certainly worth the price as long as you able to put up with the occational game-stopping issue. Visuals are nothing special, they honestly look on par with an indie game from 5 years ago, but they are more than sufficient. Sound is inconsistent but tollerable.
The game seems to only run in a full screen windowed mode, so those with multi-display setups may occasionally loose their cursor outside of the game area. It also reusults in the OSX dock popping up when you move the cursor to the bottom. There are also some UI issues. The interface in the menus seems designed for a touch screen and the required gestures for navigation in some parts just feel silly. There are also consistency issues regarding behaviour of the menu navigation keystrokes. My biggest pet peeve is that esc key cannot be used to close the open menu, it doesnt even work as a “back” button.
