Just started playing it. Reminds me of Far Cry. For the price on this gme you just can’t go wrong. The whole idea of crafting adds another element to the game.

Islands are my favorite thing in the world. That combined with Tesla Towers, Radiation and fighting zombies is awesome. I love that now we can craft our own houses. Learning more about the story of the island as I play, exploring the island and planing how to shut down the next Tower is really fun. I think Radiation Island is a more realistic version of Minecraft. Also unlike Minecraft you actually have a goal. Some people say to just go to the towers and try to kill the zombies but I think it is better to play this way, making plans and getting prepared. So I think it’s a really great game.

i bought this game and i cant even open the game to play it it just turns white and says report problem

This games does not work on El Capitan but it worked perfectly on Yosemite. So sad that I cant conitnue to play the only game I paid for in the App Store :(

Just downloaded it for the first time on OS X 10.11 and it fails to open.

This is an amazing game! I’ve been looking for a good cheap survival game for awhile and this is it. I haven’t really expireanced very many problems. One of them is landing the glider (I’m on a computer). I can’t click the landing button so when i try to land i destroy my glider. And, just a suggestion, maybe put some cars or some other type of transportation that you can find. So people that play on a computer can traval fast without having to build several gliders. But all and all it’s an extremely good game for such a low price.

Update: New update works well on El Capitan. Update: The nice people at Atypical Games gave me a "work around” to be able to play the game, It is a bit cumbersome but I’m able to play. So it is back up to 4 stars (5, as soon as everything works properly). Game worked fine until I updated to El Capitan, now it won’t launch at all; that is the reason for the two stars. It is a great game, but if you have El Capitan on your system you should think twice before purchasing it. I’ll update this post as soon as the issue is fixed; it’s been a week so far, but I’ll keep my fingers crossed.

Well… I updated because it was crashing after I installed OS X El Capitan, however, it did not help much, it is still crashing after I start it.

Radiation Island is one of the best games I have ever played. The price on it is great too. This game allows you to progress at a rate where you dont feel that you are stuck or lost. I really recommend this game!

Great game at first. Had almost all of the important items needed to drop the towers and such, including the pistol, machine gun, torches, melee weapons, etc. When I was entering a code for the last tower on the island THE GAME CRASHED. When I reopened the game I LOST EVERYTHING….every single item i picked up and/or crafted including all 5 rows of items in my backpack were GONE. 26 hours worth of progress gone because of some glitch. I am pretty frustrated since I played about 4 hours today at least. Fun game but make sure you save your game, OH WAIT YOU CAN’T DO THAT BECAUSE IT WONT LET YOU. Be careful.

This game is a great game. I hesitated to purchase it because of the price, but I am glad I did finally get it. The one issue I did have with it, was the game is too short. It has great playability, and replayability. It’s nicely designed in that the each separate islands are the same but different. All the animals are differnt in what will kill them faster. The process for manufacturing is nicely done. Day and night times are equally set up for different tasks. This game becomes a stratigy game as well as a survival game. It really makes one think about what is important for the next task. It was really well designed over all. Once I played it once, the second time around was considerably much shorter though, as seeing I knew what to do to survivr longer and what to craft to feed myself for longer periods. I still plan on playing it more than one time in the future. I have a few times when the game closed out on me, but I never lost my progress or items in my pack. I just waited for the computer to reopen it and i was back where I was kicked out. I am on a MacBook Pro bought in 2011. Game was not buggy for the most part, or did I have mant other isses that others have wrote about. Great game!!!

awsome game. the end wasent the best. could have done better on that one of the best games make another or make this longer PLZZZ.
